Telehealth services have grown considerably. By bringing the treatment to the patient, AdCare was able to treat more patients. AdCare is now introducing a hybrid model at its outpatient programs in Greenville and South Kingstown, RI to accommodate patients who want in-person treatment, as well as those who prefer to access treatment via telehealth.
“After patients entering the drug rehabilitation and residential inpatient program at AdCare Rhode Island – the only residential facility in the state to introduce patients to medication-assisted therapies – chose to start MAT and was successful overall 82% rate“, said Trapassi.
